Description

The book is a collection of few pages, notes and entries from the diary of Agnimitra, which he has composed, in the first decade of 21st century. These are monologues addressed to none. Sometimes, these are utterances in delirium. These are no poems nor are these pieces of prose. These are neither grudges nor complaints, these are but honest expressions in utter loneliness, and yes helplessness.

About the Author

Born in an orthodox Brahmin family of Mithila, the author has been a witness to repression and hypocrisy of Indian society. Having pursued his education on the plateau of Netarhat in tribal Jharkhand has seen the best of natural wealth and worst of human sufferings. Being a student of History and having done Post Graduation from Patna University, he has studied the genesis of present Indian plight and misery in its various aspects. While teaching in a college in Singhbhum District of Jharkhand, he has known why the area produces Maoists more than it produces Paddy.

Yes, Mitreshwar Agnimitra are two persons in one body. One serving as a teacher under Kolhan University and the other is servant to none. Mitreshwar is mortal, while Agnimitra is not.

Re: FARIYAAD NAHIN

This work is a mosaic of reflections on contemproray issues that surrounds an ordinary man/woman who is overwhelmed by his/her own circumstances. while he/she is ordinary but circumstances are extra-ordinary. More oftne than not these extra-ordinary circumstances make these ordinary souls extra-ordinary. You will witness this ordinary man/woman belligerent with his/her own circumstances. So deep rooted he/she is in his/her ways. It also dares challenging the established mores of life. Outrageous reflections are these - they do not accept any kind of regulations nor does it like to regulate others. Outrageous indeed...
