Mohammed Qamruzzaman, known to friends as Qamar, was born in India in 1940. In 1964 he traveled to America to pursue his education and received his BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1969 from Howard University, and MS Degree in Management in 1976 from Frostburg State College. He worked for the US Army for 32 years in Defense Program Management and retired in Dec 2013. He has one daughter, a journalist, and two sons, a doctor, and an engineer and former US Marine who served in Fallujah. Qamar’s dream is to have fellow Muslims realize that Islam is more than just acts of Ibadah (worship) but also requires a deep spiritual connection with God. This project is the culmination of over 30 years of writing, pondering and asking God for guidance.
