About the Authors

Smt. M.P. Sheela is a writer in Malayalam who has published several short stories, novels, and poems. She has also written lyrics for a few Malayalam movies. She is the recipient of the 2010 FOKANA Global Literary Award, and the 2012 MAM Literature Award, and for Moonnaamoozham, she received the FOKANA Lalitha-Ambika Antharjanam Novel Award, in 2022. Originally from Kerala, India, she lives in the USA with her husband and children. She is a teacher with a master’s degree in Hindi literature.

Dr. Sukumar Canada, based in Vancouver, is an engineer-writer interested in Indian Philosophy and classical music. He has published several books on spirituality including translations in Malayalam and English. His poems, articles, and stories appear regularly in periodicals in English and Malayalam.
