These poems, which take stock of the heights of humanity, are the intense expressions of the deep sensitivity of a tender poet's mind. The collection contains many poems filled with human emotions like friendship, affection and love, but these are not such value-based poems in which unless the words love-love or affection-affection are used two-four times, we cannot believe that this is also a poem with emotion! In the age of Facebook and the so-called new mass media, the meanings of Murali's poems are profound. As profound as they are in the life of a poet. This poet, who is full of shyness, meaningfulness, tenderness, thoughtfulness and the truth of a consumer, needs to be read carefully. There are many poems in this collection of poems that point towards our roots, our heritage that is getting lost, and the inconsistencies in our thinking and contemplation. These poems are presented in the collection in a well-organized manner in different sequences but they do a psychological investigation of our present environment and humanity. These are poems struggling for natural human dignity and existence. There are many such native words here, which give pleasure to read but also make one sad that those words are being cleverly made meaningless and redundant. Regarding our language, here one realises how dangerous conspiracies are going on to paint all of us in a particular language and a particular culture. Overall, this is a meaningful and readable poetry collection because here life itself has become a poem.
