These decodable games are a great way to practice decoding words with different skills! There are 22 different games for students to play! Students can play this game independently or with a partner. Students will use cubes and counter coin as game pieces, each grab a different color to hide the picture, and start anywhere on the board.
Students will take turns rolling a die, moving that many spaces and reading the word aloud (partner will check them).
Once the student decodes the word, they will find the image in the middle that matches and hide it in with their counter coin. Students continue rolling, reading, and hiding until the entire grid is hid. Whoever has hide the most spaces, wins!
