Nikita Raikwar is a budding, teenaged poet from an under-privileged background with rare talent and skill for composing poetry that reflects her aspirations to do something not only for herself but also for her motherland. Living in the slums of Delhi NCR, and studying at a school run by Sarvahitey, an NGO focused on uplifting underserved communities in India, she touches on some of the pressing challenges facing the nation and her deep desire to do something to rise above them and win.
