81 years young Nita Deshpande is B.A., B.Ed., STC and served as an accomplished teacher in "New English School, Thane". She has written many poems, short stories and articles. Her "14 carat" play was broadcast on national radio. She featured on E-tv Marathi and Z-marathi in various recipe shows. She has already published a cookbook "Healthy Breakfast 76" . A mother, grandmother and mother-in-law is still active and cooks for her family with creative enthusiasm. She is an active member of "Senior Citizen Club" of her community.
