This book deals with the court craft of advocates, conditions of jail inmates, capital punishments, historical facts related to administration of justice, delicacies from literature and the like. The success of my attempt lies in the acceptance of the broad clientele of the readers.
I have nothing to do with law or court; not a lawyer; not even a peon or gardener in the courtroom. Yet I am nurturing an interest in the subjects of law and a fascination for the happenings in the courts. And the result is this book.
‘A good book’ according to John Milton ‘is the precious life blood of a master-spirit embalmed and treasured up on purpose to life beyond life. This is not to be obtained but by devout prayer to that Eternal Spirit that can enrich with all utterances and knowledge….’. Yes, it is only with the Divine Grace that I was able to accomplish this book.
The naval architect constructs the boat with utmost care and diligence to make it safe and sea-worthy. The quality of his task must be of error-free precision. Once the job is done and the vessel is dropped upon the waves, then the fate of the vessel is determined by the boat and the waves of the sea. The naval architect’s part is over!
Likewise I have chiseled this book with top most care and diligence. I am handing over this book to the reader community. I hope the book will gently cruise upon the ocean of vast readership. I have narrated the stuff of this book on law and court punctuated with historical instances. I can assure that this book will provide the pleasure of good reading. I am sure every lover of books, including those interested in law, will find good delicacies to enjoy in this book.
