The primary qualities that make a good software professional have been explained, so you can determine if a software career is a good fit for you. The technologies have been explained in simple language with recommended online resources for free software training and practice of each and every one of the broad technologies. For those interested in formal software education, there is a separate chapter that deals with affordable college degree in technology for working adults.

The subsequent chapters provide techniques for resume writing with templates and references, how to interview successfully in a variety of challenging situations, how to be successful in the new job with great relationships at work, and finally how to monitor and grow your career.
