An awesome combination of words that really drag us to author's memories. I have felt each and every word, ike it moves me from inside. This story is life story of every child either it's boy or girl. I will suggest everyone to read it and get tips to handle life and face fears bravely. Patricia Dsouza is indeed a very courageous brave and amazing lady.
I barely completed this book and am so altered in my thinking. I will definitely recommend this book; in between I really had to lay it down for a couple of hours because of how heart-breaking and excruciatingly familiar this all felt for me, as I also grew up in an abusive home, but eventually it was inspirational, and the feeling of knowing you're not alone is always comforting. This story was heart-breaking but Patricia’s strength is visible in her writing. The fear that she lived throughout is also noticed in the book! The book had me hooked on and on.
Wow is all I can say! It's very well written. This book is a must read for all category of people. I'm broken-hearted reading the pain. My heart aches for the victims. The book is perfect. The author did a brilliant job portraying each event.
One of the most important pieces in child abuse read. Its loud and clear that one must reach out for help if you are being abused in any form. No one deserves to be abused.
Written from the depth of her heart!
