Peter Mt. Shasta is the author of books about awakening to God consciousness, the Ascended Masters, and how to apply the I AM Consciousness as a master in everyday life. In the 70s he spent time in India with Ram Dass, Neem Karoli Baba, Sathya Sai Baba, Anandamayi Ma and other saints and yogis. He also studied with many Tibetan Lamas. On his return to the US, the Ascended Master Saint Germain materialized before him in Muir Woods, near San Francisco, and told him to go to Mount Shasta for further training. There he was brought into contact with Pearl Dorris, a former assistant to Godfre Ray King, and head of the San Francisco "I AM" Sanctuary. Through Pearl, he was given advanced training in the I AM teachings and brought into further contact with other Ascended Masters. He has been working recently, at Saint Germain’s request, to bring ancient Tibetan practices that unlock the mysteries of the mind into the I AM teachings, as the training given to Godfrey Ray King in the 1930s was only an introduction to Mastery.
