About the Author

Prasanta Sarkar is a garment industry professional, an author, and an employee in a software company.
He started writing one decade ago while working in an apparel management consulting firm, in India. He joined a garment manufacturing export house after completing his post-graduation in fashion technology course from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. He has a B.Tech. degree in Textile Technology from Calcutta University.
In the year 2011, he had launched the blog Online Clothing Study (www.onlineclothingstudy.com) and since then he is sharing his learning through his notes and articles. He helped learners to become knowledgeable and informed in the field of apparel manufacturing and apparel supply chain.
