Pratik Chakraborty is a passionate writer and teacher of Geography and Social Sciences based in Siliguri, nestled in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal. A geographer by profession and an adventurer at heart, Pratik holds a World Record for the largest private collection of rocks and minerals based on Indian Geological periods, reflecting his deep connection with Earth’s natural wonders.
With a rich academic background that includes a Master’s in Applied Geography & Social Anthropology (M.A., M.Sc. & M.Ed.), Pratik’s research delves into the intricate layers of Earth and Social Sciences. His new book, Whispers of the Sacred Scrolls, unravels stories that weave through time and culture, drawing from both his scholarly expertise and his fascination full of adventure and mystery.
In addition to his work as a researcher and educator, Pratik previously authored “Abhigaman”, a collection of evocative poems. His love for exploring the natural world and understanding the forces that shape it continues to fuel his writing, research, and teaching.
