Priya Dilip Lokare is a distinguished botanist with extensive academic and research experience. She holds an M.Sc. in Botany with a specialization in Mycology and Plant Pathology from New Arts, Commerce and Science College, Ahmednagar, and a B.Sc. in Botany from Arts, Science & Commerce College, Rahuri.
Priya has made significant contributions to the field of botany, authoring 21 research papers and holding 10 patents, including three granted and seven published. She has published seven books, covering topics such as botanical entrepreneurship and plant-animal interactions. With over 10 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor across various colleges, she has also coordinated multiple workshops and seminars, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship in botany, such as mushroom cultivation and eco-friendly practices.
Her work has been recognized with several honors, including the Glantor X Nation Choice Award in the Research Scholar Category in 2021 and a third-place finish in the Avishkar College Level Competition (Teacher Category) in 2022. Priya is also the editor of the journal Flora and Fauna, where she contributes to advancing research and knowledge in biological sciences. Her areas of interest include scientific writing, plant pathology, botanical entrepreneurship, and environmental sustainability. She actively shares her knowledge and research through various academic and professional platforms, contributing to the broader scientific community.
Dr. Jay B. Pandya is currently working as Assistant Professor in Botany at Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, Dharampur, Valsad, Gujarat, India. He has 14 years of teaching in Graduation and Post-Graduation students, with 19 years research experience. He received 02 National awards for his research presentation. He received Young Scientist Award in 2021 by Department of Environmental Science & UGC-STRIDE Cell, K. R. T. Arts, B. H. Commerce, A. M. Science (KTHM) College, Nashik, Maharashtra, India in collaboration with Brazil Chapter, International Youth Society, Australia. He also received Special Achievement Award for outstanding contribution in Botany from Botanical Advanced Association of Gujarat (BAAG). He has published 24 research papers in National and International journals including UGC care listed with NAAS rating and published 8 books and 2 book chapters. He is also acting as reviewer in several journals. He has 01 National and 01 International patent. He has also one copyright from IPR for his book. He has also delivered several expert lectures on Plant Anatomy, Plant Physiology, Biodiversity, Ethnobotany and Pharmacognosy and Embryology. He has also guided 7 dissertation students. He has presented several papers in many National and International conferences.
