Prof. Jivantika Gulati, is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She qualified UGC NET in the field of Law in her first attempt. She completed her B.A. LL.B. and LL.M. from the prestigious Army Institute of Law, Mohali. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Cyber Law from the prestigious Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad. Her area of specialization revolves around Criminal Law, Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence. She has numerous publications to her credit which are indexed in UGC CARE, Scopus and Web of Science. One of her scholarly works is published in Routledge, Taylor and Francis, United Kingdom. She has been awarded as Best Presenter and Second-Best Presenter at various International Conferences one being in collaboration with Staffordshire University, United Kingdom. Her research proposal on ‘Metaverse Rape’ got accepted for presentation at 2nd Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence organised by International Research Centre on AI under the auspices of Government of Slovenia and UNESCO. Being brought up in the Defence Background, she simultaneously keeps Profound interest in Sports as she is a Marathon Runner, awarded with Gold medal in 50 meters freestyle swimming competition at Symbiosis Staff Sports Fest in January, 2024 as also she has been awarded as ‘Best Sportsperson of the Year’ by Symbiosis Law School, Pune in September 2024.
