Law is a dynamic Instrument fashioned by society for the purposes of
achieving harmonious adjustment of human relations by elimination of
social tension and conflicts. For the development of the society the
social changes are necessary within society. The change is the rule of
Nature. Law being a dynamic concept; must change according to the
needs of the society. Law and social transformation is a unique subject,
it does not deal about a particular problem of society, and it deals with
every social problem. This subject deals with each and every law, which
is helpful in resolving the problem of the society. The overall
transformation of society depends upon implementations of a law in
latter and spirit. Once we are talking about social transformation, we are
discussing the factors which cause hindrance for the transformation of
society and to find out the solutions of those problems within the
framework of law.
Law, social transformation and judicial process in India is a CORE
subject in the LL.M. course, the contents of this book has been designed
by keeping in view the syllabus of UGC and various universities. Since
so many years the author no.1 is teaching the subject and having the
knowledge, that the students are facing problem in finding out the whole
syllabus in a single book Therefore, the authors tried to provide the
material on the subject in this book. The authors have designed the
contents by keeping in view the latest development in law and the
Constitutional Amendments on the subjects relating to women, children,
SC/ST/OBC communities, differently abled person, aged parents and old
age persons, LGBTQ, Transgender, partners of live-in relationships,
economic weaker sections of the society and the provision of reservation
