Description

The Ganges Whispers is very good depicting the behavioural difference between culture of high educated urban youth and a man from simple village background who carries the values of great India. It will arouse your curiosity. Straightforward plot. Simple language. Many dramatic twists, and clear messages. along with hints toward solutions.
The Ganges Whispers deals with the rise, departure and end of the mysterious painful narratives of the old people with great intimacy and poignancy. How the majority of today's educated society gets caught in the trap of de-culture, bites their guardians like snakes and ends up falling into the hell of despair and sobbing for life. Despite this wind of change, the banner of the eternal sense of duty (e.g., devotion to parents, self-reliance, kindness instead of injustice, hospitality after contempt, etc.) has not been blown away, but is flying. Coincidence and chance are the lifeblood of its plot. On the one hand, while the son runs to America in lust for his girlfriend, he falls behind her and cries. On the other hand, his father follows him in the Gangotri and becomes an example of unbreakable love.

About the Author

Born and bred in a small village in Madhubani district of Bihar, Shri R. N. Mishra by dint of hard work and sincerity rose to be a Metropolitan Magistrate in Delhi. However, this is not very important, for rags to riches stories these days are aplenty. What is important is that in the midst of his struggle, he has kept up his abiding love for literature and is already an author of thirty-three books in different languages. And the notable thing is that these books belong to different genres. There is an autobiography, three memoirs, four books of essays, two travelogues, twenty novels and three volumes of short stories.
