Rahul Mohaniya’s life took a quiet inward turn at an early age, when outward success began to feel insufficient to answer deeper questions about Truth, peace, and meaning. He entered IIT at the age of eighteen and went on to complete his B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, following a path of academic excellence while an unspoken inner inquiry continued to unfold.
This inner restlessness gradually led him beyond intellect into a deeper exploration of spirituality and self-enquiry. He was profoundly influenced by the teachings of Advaita Vedanta and found early guidance through sages such as Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj, whose uncompromising clarity pointed directly toward the Self. In his formative years on the spiritual path, he also resonated deeply with contemporary non-dual teachers Rupert Spira and Francis Lucille, whose teachings helped refine his understanding of consciousness and non-doership.
Despite these insights, life drew him through inner awakenings, confusion, and the Dark night of the soul—until Grace took a living form. His search came to rest when he met his Master, Gautam Sachdeva. In the presence of his Guru, seeking dissolved into surrender, and understanding softened into devotion.
Rahul writes not as a teacher, but as a disciple—offering this work in gratitude at the feet of his Master.
