Where does Poetry come from?

21 Aug 2025, I was walking back from work, when the first poem "The Poet" popped in the head. I
wrote it on my phone, captivated by the sudden, clear rhythm.

What followed was two months of beautiful, exhausting madness. I became a woman possessed,
running around the house at odd hours, scrambling to find a pen and my diary before the latest
spontaneous verse vanished.

My mind became a relentless, internal jostle of rhyme and metaphor. And what happened to bring
these poems forth is for you to find within these pages.
