Description

Do you like stories about death and the supernatural, but not in a frightening way? This bundle of eight tales from the heart contains short stories that will tingle your spine on the comic, human side of tragic situations and, perhaps, leave a sultry smile.

• A woman on her deathbed in Coma can hear things around her without anyone else knowing it and finds her new world comically fascinating.
• At a conference of Bacteria, one of the species raises the often-debated topic in Gut Feeling; Does the Human really exist?
• In Prognosis, a doctor specialising in palliative care cannot handle it when his own daughter is diagnosed with a terminal disease.
• Find out what happens when a son realises that the body of his father who died in the pandemic is lost in The Funeral.
• A successful industrialist looks forward to his felicitation at his batch Reunion, but is it really something worth looking forward to?
• Everyone loves the caretaker of terminal patients, but what exactly are they grateful for? A medical student finds out in Grace Ayah.
• Read about these.. and some more..

A must-read collection for readers of short stories looking for a quick read, especially of the spooky, metaphysical kind. Grab your copy!

About the Author

Ranjit Kulkarni is an author with a penchant for portraying characters from the real world and weaving stories around their apparently mundane lives.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Kulkarni spent his childhood in the environs of urban, middle-class India. As an adult, he’s travelled the world, exploring the cityscapes of America, getting lost in the natural beauty of Europe, and absorbing the tastes and sounds of Asia.

With his constant knack for observation and a deep-seated fondness of reflection, he loves crafting sensitive tales that entertain and provoke thought. When not writing, Kulkarni loves reading and going on trips with his wife and now adult son.
