Consisting of what can be considered a single ‘epic poem’, Richard C. Bower demonstrates our interaction with the forces of nature, with an underlying current of strength, courage and salvation - very pertinent during these times we are currently living through - but also, due to the situation, it encourages a celebration of the natural world, and of anything that we may normally take for granted. It's about seeing the beauty and detail in life. The tone of the poem is intentional and the 'Journey' (around the garden) is about life itself.
