In "Beyond Aurobindo," Ritam Dutta presents a gripping novella that thrusts readers into a distorted future governed by machine-like beings. Amidst this eerie landscape, the protagonist, Gus, finds himself on a profound journey of self-discovery. Encountering an enigmatic girl who unveils his forgotten past as a Yogi and follower of Sri Aurobindo, Gus is propelled into a realm where the boundaries between humanity and technology blur.
As the narrative unfolds, Dutta intricately weaves together themes of posthumanism and spirituality, offering readers a thought-provoking exploration of identity, belief, and the transcendence of human limitations. Through Gus's quest to reconcile his past with his present reality, readers are invited to ponder the nature of existence and the potential for evolution beyond conventional understandings.
In "Beyond Aurobindo," Dutta skillfully navigates the intersection of science fiction and spiritual inquiry, delivering a compelling tale that challenges assumptions and stretches the boundaries of imagination. With its richly drawn characters and evocative prose, this novella promises to captivate readers and leave them pondering the mysteries of the universe long after the final page is turned.
Congratulations, Mr. Genius. So happy for you. This is a must read for everyone. Science fiction and dystopian theme.
The way Ritam highlighted the extinct condition of human species and the way unity has been breached, this book goes beyond humanism
Nice book. With plenty of twist and turns and afterall plenty of philosophical questions. Really liked it.
The End was Bit Complicated
I like the entire story but tbh the end was very complicated. I was expecting something more to happen. Anyways it was a good read and multiple philosophies nuances was there. Overall a decent piece of writing.
