Sanchari was born and raised in a suburb of Kolkata, India, a place rich in history ranging from Dutch to Mughals and Bengali laureates. A travel enthusiast, empathizer and daydreamer, she is as much into heritage and culture preservation as into progressive modernization. Whenever she is not writing or travelling, you can find her painting or observing people. That’s where her books are inspired from. The Reluctant Bride is her first book, the conflict in the name itself making it a page turner.
