In India, it is always a perennial quest for the realisation of the golden triangle in the education system- that of equity, quantity and quality. The policy makers of our country always pit one against the other instead of acknowledging the intrinsic link between all the three of them and formulate policies accordingly. As long as the question of providing quality education to all the sections of the population, irrespective of their caste, class, religion, region and ethnicity etc is not ensured, the crisis in Indian education system cannot be stemmed.
