international movement of food becoming more
prevalent, the need for strict food hygiene standards has
never been greater. Every individual, from food producers
to consumers, has a responsibility to maintain and
promote food hygiene.

About the Author

Sarojini Verma
Sarojini Verma has completed bachelor degree with Silver Medal in Food
Science & Technology from Bundelkhand University, during her post
graduation in Food Science and Technology from the same institute, she
got gold medal for outstanding Masters Student among Food Technology
students by Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Government of India. She have
also cleared ASRB(NET) conducted by the Agricultural Scientists
Recruitment Board (ASRB), Department of Agricultural Research and
Education, Ministry of Agricultural for lecturer/Assistant professor in
Food science and Technology in 2010. Besides this, she has two and a
half year (July’2020- Dec’2022) Industrial experience in BIOKY Organics
Pvt. Ltd. Ahmedabad as a Quality control Manager. In her past role as a
Quality control manager, she has developed new recipes and products
and managed the production process from start to finish. She has also
conducted chemical and sensory testing of food products, evaluated and
monitored quality performance, and designed new techniques to improve
product quality. Additionally, she has created and implemented various
food safety and regulatory policies and procedures. To pursue Ph.D. in
Food safety/ Food Packaging, she has cleared GATE 2021 and taken
admission in department of Chemical Engineering at NIT Jalandhar in
January 2023.
