Description

Bhaktivinoda was an extremely controversial figure who deviated significantly from the Gauḍīya-Vaiṣṇava-siddhānta established by Caitanya Mahāprabhu and the six Gosvāmīs of Vṛndāvana.

We expose here all his lies, apasiddhāntas, aparādhas and speculations. While ISKCON and Gauḍīya Maṭha (IGM) followers revere him as a Gauḍīya-Vaiṣṇava ācārya, for the rest of the Gauḍīya-Vaishnava-sampradāya he remains largely irrelevant; his writings are mostly unread and unknown outside these circles.

Bhaktivinoda not only promulgated numerous controversial teachings that contradict the Bhāgavatam and the teachings of the six Gosvāmīs, but he also forged texts—claiming that he had merely discovered them and that they were authored by earlier ācāryas. He deliberately fabricated texts to lend authority to his own apasiddhāntas. Despite this, some continue to regard these works as “ancient and authentic scriptures,” even though it is proven that Bhaktivinoda is the true author.

Falsely attributing one’s own writings to previous ācāryas is a grave aparādha, exposing his deceptive nature. Nevertheless, within IGM he is celebrated as the “Seventh Gosvāmī.” All such claims are meticulously refuted in this book and substantiated with evidence from śāstra.
