The novella revolves around five friends, they fight to bring justice for one of them, who is in the deathbed as she became the target of some carnivorous fox humans. The friends under the advice of 'Macho' a grandfather figure to them, overcomes all the hurdles and finds the real culprit. During the investigation they come to a point of dead end, where they realize one among them is from the culprit's side, but still keeping stones in heart, they do whatever is correct. In this whole plot, the protagonist also falls in love with a police officer, but later on faces problem with the relation.
The friend fighting with death survives, but the criminal escapes the bars and again plans something heinous, read the book to find the twists and turns and to know whether they were able to bring an end to the crime or not? Whether the five friends could gain proper justice for their friend or not? Whether the love relationship survived or not?
