The time was twelve in the midnight. The entire Ladies Hostel slipped in to deep sleep, except for a small number of girls who were eagerly watching a horror movie, inside the TV Room. Feeling sudden urge of thirst, one girl got up from her seat, to reach out for the water cooler outside the TV room. She had a glance at the Window by chance, and was startled to see something in utter darkness outside. A hand is slowly approaching from the top of the Window sill towards the middle of the window Pane and is now resting on the window pane! A scream escaped from her throat, which was soon reverberated by the rest of the girls in the TV room. Soon the shrilling noise of the security alarm was echoed in the Hostel corridors. One by one, all the lights were on, and the inmates rushed in bewilderment to the spot, to know what had just happened…
