Shashikala Gadepally has embarked upon a journey with her newfound passion for writing, post-retirement from the teaching profession. Her creative urge and imaginative faculty have given her wings to explore the unknown realms.
She has authored several books, a book of poems – ‘Verses of Life’, and a collection of short stories, ‘Till eternity…’, which explore themes of daily life and love.
Her recently published novel, ‘The Absent Citizen, …. the man who knew too much, is a socio-political suspense-thriller.
Her recently published eBooks are – ‘The Untold Sagas, a collection of short stories and ‘Silent musings’, a collection of poems.
She is fun-loving and affable and enjoys cooking.
Her favourite authors are P.G. Wodehouse and James Hadley Chase.
Her simple, lucid language enhances readability, and the easy flow of words connects the reader to the storyline.
Apart from reading and writing, she has a keen ear for vocal and instrumental music.
