But how about many others whose names appear in the film cast and filmographies, particularly junior artists and background dancers? This book is an attempt put faces to their names. In this book, the seventh in this series, we have 65 Hindi films from 1952-53, whose videos are in our collection and captured about 1,260 pictures of the cast.

About the Authors

Sheo Khetan was born in Sitamarhi, Bihar in 1949. He did his BTech from IIT Kanpur. in 1970. He came to Stony Brook, NY in September 1970 and finished MS in Mechanical Engineering.
He then did MBA in finance and continued working in the Semiconductor industry for next 32 years. In 2005, he was downed by a stroke. It took 6 months to recover. Since then he turned to his original love, old Hindi movies. He has been married to Nirmala since 1976 and they have 4 boys, and 2 daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. Sons are Sanjay, Saurabh, Sameer and Sudhir. The two daughters-in-law are Deepa (Ms Sanjay) and Sarmili (Ms Sudhir).
His grandsons are Jaiden, Dilan and Kaushik (both Covid boys) and granddaughter is Shreyashi.

Prof Surjit Singh,
a diehard movie fanatic, period.
He is a retired Theoretical Physicist. He has been watching Hindi movies since 1952, has been
collecting Hindi songs, movies and magazines since 1969, and has been writing about these things
since 1996. He has had a website since 1999,
