( সৌম্য শঙ্কর মিদ্যা – সোমরিক — নামটি যেন এক অনুভব, এক কণ্ঠ, এক গল্পের ছায়া।

একজন সৃষ্টিশীল লেখক, গল্পকার, কবি এবং স্বরশিল্পী হিসেবে সোমরিক নিজেকে প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছেন শব্দের নৈঃশব্দ্যের মাঝখানে।

ছোটবেলা থেকেই আঁকতে ভালোবাসতেন, লিখতে ভালবাসতেন, তাই শব্দের সঙ্গে তার সম্পর্ক শুরু হয়েছিল ছবি আঁকার পাতায়, আর সেখান থেকেই ধীরে ধীরে জন্ম নেয় কল্পনার জগতে হাঁটার এক নতুন পথ। তার লেখায় মিশে থাকে আবেগ, রহস্য, প্রেম, বিচ্ছেদ, এবং মানুষের মনের অদৃশ্য ভিতরের লড়াই।
