To feel or not to feel, that is the question.
The Mark of a Heart is an ode to the metaphorical use of the hollowed, human heart - to feel. The heart is used to feeling various emotions. It is also used to winning when its opponent is the mind. Thus, victory tastes sweet. But what do we do when the heart loses? We feel. And sometimes, we train our hearts to not feel.
Be it the butterflies of starting something new, the remembrances of something old, feeling happy, feeling sad, feeling nothing, The Mark of a Heart covers it all.
It aims to provide solace to those who think they feel certain emotions alone, hopes to be the shoulder for someone if they need one, wants to bring a smile on your face or wipe away a tear or two, make you forget about things of the past, or help create some new experiences, maybe inspire a few too, and much more.
Happy Reading!
A complete experience
I loved reading this book! NGL, I was a little wary at first, but I was so moved when I turned the last page. It's really expressive and reminded me of so many memories that I had forgotten.
Have to say, after finishing this, I have to agree with a line in the book - "intimate journey of self-discovery, love, loss, and the beauty of the human spirit."
I recommend this book to all poetry enthusiasts and those seeking solace in the power of words. Word to the wise - prepare to embark on a profound journey of the heart and soul.
