I began writing this book with questions about dignity, suffering, and the limits of law when it meets human reality. As a student of law, I was taught to seek clarity, yet I found that some of the most important questions resist easy answers.
I am a second-year B.A. LL.B. (Honours.) student at Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, originally from Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. My academic interest in constitutional law, particularly Article 21, which is very vast led me to reflect on a deeper question that if dignity defines life, does it also shape the way we are allowed to die?
This book is an attempt to explore that question with both legal understanding and human sensitivity. I do not offer conclusions but only an invitation to reflect on the human dimension at the heart of the law.
