This historical fiction is based on world famous dialouge between first female Brahmvedini sage Gargi Vachaknavi and maharishi
Yagyavalkya. Both belong to Vedic period. Among some other important characters, it includes king Janak, sage Agastya, sage Kanva, sage
Vashishtha, sage Garg and female sage Maitreyi and Lopamudra. Gargi was the first highly educated and highly accomplished sage of Vedic India. She was also great psychologist and a learned philosopher who had defeated many learned scholars at that time. She was also the teacher of Sita, the daughter of king Janak. The novel uses some historical facts of Vedic period and takes some liberty to convert those
facts into fiction adding some interesting incidents.
