Description

Shyamchi Aai (Marathi: श्यामची आई; English: Shyam's Mother), an autobiography of Sane Guruji is hailed as one of the greatest tributes to mother's love. This book is re-scripting of a few classic heart touching stories from the Marathi classic, in the form of a play. The scenes in the drama are attuned to the present day affairs in everyone's house. Thus it has a realistic tone besides the prevalent supreme tone of the original book.

Does the fragrance of a flower stay undiscovered?
Does the purest thing need any introduction?
Ages ago, I remember, how tired I would feel while returning after a long day at school. As soon as the school bell would ring, I would yearn for her concern; her touch; her smile. All my hardships would disappear with her warmth. One person I know who would give her all whatsoever – is my mother. Then and always.

"This book is for everyone. May one and all realize how benign is the existence of our mother in our lives.", Supriya says. ChaShaK Gurukul celebrates glory of motherhood with a wider audience by publishing the book.
