The Exercise Diary is a simple book that enables users to do daily exercises for each day of the year. Each day has three exercises given in it. The first exercise is a physical exercise focusing on body health. The second exercise is a breathing exercise for a healthy mind. And the third exercise is for the health of the soul. Doing these exercises daily will give us all round health and make our body, mind and soul healthy.
The list of physical exercises in the book are:
1 ) Open and close palm
2 ) Feet stretch
3 ) Rotate eyes
4 ) Rotate shoulders
5 ) Rotate wrists
6 ) Chest stretch
7 ) Cross hands and hold ears
8 ) Bend head a few times
9 ) Tilt head left and right
10) Raise hands above head
11 ) Turn body left and right
12 ) Cycle with hands
The cycle with hands exercise can be done by closing the fists and then move the fists as though we are pedaling a cycle.
We can fold the page to bookmark the diary. And if users have time, they can even do the exercises from the next few days!
The Diary does not have the weekdays mentioned ( Sunday, Monday, Tuesday etc ). So this diary can be used for every year and users can do the exercises on a daily basis following this Diary every year!
Users can use this book as a simple exercise book where each day one set of exercises can be done so that they can complete all the exercises in a few days.
The mind exercises are:
1 ) Alternate nostril breathing
2 ) Breath in slowly and breath out slowly
3 ) Breath in and hold your breath for sometime and breath out
4 ) Breath in through nose and breath out through mouth
5 ) Clasp hands for sometime
6 ) Check pulse
Alternate nostril breathing exercise can be done by breathing in through left nostril and then breath out through right nostril, then breath in through right nostril and breath out through left nostril. That will complete a round. Repeat a few rounds.
The clasping hands exercise can be done by clasping fingers in prayer pose for sometime. The check pulse activity can be done by checking the pulse for a minute.
The Soul exercises are:
1 ) Chanting or repeat power words
2 ) Sit straight for sometime and not think about anything
3 ) Visualize
4 ) Close eyes and ears
The chanting activity can be done by chanting a sound or mantra by religious people. Others can repeat power words like “Relax”, “I am healthy”, “Remove negativity”, “Remove disease”, “I am strong”, “ Success”, “Health”, “Wealth” etc.
The visualize activity can be done by visualizing nature scenery like mountains, oceans, rivers, trees etc. Religious people can visualize churches and temples. Other positive visualizations like happy events, achieving success can also be done.
The closing the eyes and ears can be done by closing the ears with the thumb and close your eyes with the other fingers. This activity will block the thoughts and calm the mind and soul.
