My Notes is a simple book that helps users to make notes under different categories and index them so that it is easy to retrieve them when we need them.
Every note has a note number which identifies the note, and category name that will identify the type of note.
The alphabetical index section will record the note names and their numbers. For example, if we want to look up the Printer service center number and address, we can check under the alphabet P and it will show the note name “Printer service center” and its note number which holds the information. We can then look up the note number to get the information.
It is not necessary to note down all the notes and their note numbers under the alphabetical index. Some general notes can be skipped.
Some of the note categories are contacts, addresses, health, important, medicines, office, events, expenses, purchase, utility, repairs, general etc.
Object location notes can be used to note down location of objects whose location we tend to forget. So, we can note down their location as a note and enter it in the alphabetical index. For example, if the electrical tools are kept in bottom shelf of bedroom cupboard, we can make a note with that information and then write the note name and number under the E section.
So, when we need the electrical tools, we can look up under E and then find out the note name and note number. Then look up the note number to find the location of the object.
We can also make object location notes for important files, documents, certificates, books, pen drives, computer items, cell phone items, various tools etc.
The first 150 notes are long notes which can be used to make elaborate notes like expenses, device configuration and warranty details, repair incidents, addresses, health notes, prescriptions, medicines treatments taken etc.
If one note is not enough, then we can use multiple note numbers to complete the note and accordingly enter the multiple note numbers in the alphabetical index, for the same note name.
The short notes can be used for simple notes like contact numbers, application numbers, utility numbers etc.
Notes related to events can be made with the date noted down. Dates can be noted down when it is necessary. For example, the date of receiving important communication can be noted down!
Doctor visits, health incidents, treatments taken, marriage dates, awards and ceremonies can be noted down.
And for other notes, the date is not needed to be noted down.
And it is not necessary to note down all the note numbers in the alphabetical index. General notes like guest visits, tours and vacations, general news can be made as notes but need not be written in the alphabetical index!
Fold the notes page to bookmark it, so that it is easy to open the book and write the note! The page numbers are also printed in big fonts on the top right to make the navigation easier!
And after the book is complete, get a new book and name it as volume two and continue the notes. If the alphabetical index is maintained in the first volume, then for notes made in the second volume, mention the volume number as well along with the note number, for example, 2 – 23, where 2 is the volume number and 23 is the note number!
Indexing the notes in this way, will make it easy to retrieve the note quickly when we need them.
This book will be a handy tool for everyone to note down useful information and can help us to manage our life better!
