This book is the sequel to the historical fiction, Survivors of a Mutiny, published two years back. In the first part, the story had started when the struggle for freedom had been crushed by the British regime in 1858. The sequel picks up the thread in the year 1905 when the story in the previous novel had trailed off.
As the countrymen renew their struggle for freedom, the second generation of the lead characters gets embroiled in the movement which culminates with freedom in 1947. That was also the time when the third generation of the families sadly gets divided by a border.
Parallel with the nationwide movement for independence, in the private stories of the leading characters there is adventure, love, romance, intrigue, and abduction in a setting that is both urban and wild countryside.
