Poems in Malayalam, translated into English. This compilation of T. K. Mangalanandan's poems takes the reader through the pathways of exchanges between poetry and history. It is not only through the path of historiography that the oppressed people will redeem their history. Another arena for this is imagination. Through poems Mangalanandan is attempting to reignite the embers of subaltern struggles in the dark passages of Kerala's history. The translation of one of his poems that won the Sahodaran Ayyappan Memorial Literary Award of the Government of Kerala in 2019 is included in this book.
