Ulrika Pillai is a Special Educator with an experience of over 10 years in her profession. Currently, she is a stay at home mom and works part time as a content writer providing content in Early childhood Education. She has worked with children with multiple disabilities and also specific learning issues related to reading and writing. She believes she can put the joy of reading into the hands of struggling readers by creating simple and easy to read story books for the younger groups in the ages of 4 to 8 years. Her first published e-book ‘Catch Up Phonics’ was a result of her passion to help ESL children learn the very basics of English and help them achieve their personal goals of reading English fluently.
She hopes to create more level 1 and 2 stories and concept related books in English, Math, Science and also books that focus on Physical and Emotional well-being of children.
When not creating content or thinking about the next Children’s Picture Book, Ulrika spends quality time with her 7-year-old daughter and caring husband. She loves to cook, craft, read and enjoys family time with her parents, friends and extended family.
