V.T.Rakesh is a crime-thriller writer based out of Surat, India. His debut book ‘The Thorough Check’ was critically acclaimed and reviewed by many including ‘The Tribune’. It was featured in ‘Krithi’, the literary festival held in Kochi on 10th March 2018. His second book ‘Deliverance of Sarpameru’, was about a deluge and the subsequent relief activities, which brought warring communities together. His third book, a collection of poems titled 'Carpathian Cantos', shows the alter ego of this crime-thriller writer. But what connects his books to his poems are the social messages they carry.
