Stains of Purple Lilacs is a collection of poems attempting to reflect and reminisce on one’s early twenties—a paradoxical phase where life feels like walking a tightrope while balancing your heart on a cracked glass platter. This compilation, created from bits and pieces written between October 2023 and July 2024, draws its inspiration from the stories unfolding around me during that time. These fragmented, scattered pieces have been woven together with a lot of love, fear, and hope into a series of poems. I hope these words, if they feel familiar, offer some form of healing.
