Vijendra Singh Tanwar is currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at the Heritage Building Division, CSIR-Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee, where he is actively involved in advanced research on structural diagnostics, conservation of heritage structures, and sustainable engineering practices. He is also pursuing a part-time Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, with a research focus on environmental sustainability, biochar-based remediation, and geotechnical innovations. With an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from RTU and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering, he brings both academic depth and professional field experience. His work is characterized by a strong inclination towards innovation, demonstrated through the grant of 10 patents—including three UK-registered designs—and one copyright related to wastewater treatment, pollution control, and heritage preservation technologies. In addition to his research activities, he has served as a faculty member at RTU and worked as a Junior Engineer with Nagar Nigam, Kota. With expertise in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Plaxis 2D, and modern construction practices, Vijendra is a committed researcher and engineer contributing meaningfully to India's infrastructural sustainability and digital heritage advancement.
