MY MOTHER WAS A BIG LIAR
“Love the whole world as a mother loves her only child,” said Gautam Buddha. My Aais’ love is something that no one can explain. It is made of sacrifice and pain. It is unselfish and enduring, no matter what happens. Nothing can destroy it or take that love away. And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking. And therefore, attributed to Rudyard Kipling says: “Because God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers.”
Why do I call myself the rich man? No person is poor who has a mother like my Aai. In that sense, I am the richest man on Planet Earth.
This book, my memoirs, is a tribute to my Aai who would have completed one hundred years on 8th January 2023.
My memoirs start with how she lied to me and Shubha my late sister, so that we are comfortable, while she lived a life of pain, agony, and discomfort.
I started writing my memoirs when I realized that the episodes and the stories both in my personal and professional life demands to be told to everyone. My memoirs tell you both, about my professional life then my personal life.
The book vividly captures my many failures and a few successes.
The thirty-nine lessons are only some of the lessons I learned in my 74 years of existence. These are unfolded in the book as ‘Food for Thought.’ Every young student of pharmaceutical brand and sales management will find it useful.
This is the story of my life dedicated to my Aai.
