Born in the second year of nineteen eighties Vivek Kulkarni has come a long way in his life. He is a post-graduate in English. He always looks for something that inspires him to write. The major inspiration came from his life experiences.
After deciding to graduate in Arts, he opted for English Literature. It opened a whole new world to him. Literary giants such as William Shakespeare, William Wordsworth, Thomas Hardy, etc. changed him thoroughly. He decided to become a writer.
He has written three novels and one short story collection in Marathi, his first language. His first Marathi novel was published in 2011. 2025 saw the publication of his first novel in English.
Apart from writing novels he also writes screenplays. He has written some feature-length screenplays ready to see celluloid screen.
In the coming years, he wants to balance his time between writing novels and screenplays.
He lives in Latur, Maharashtra, India.
