Balasubramanian Narayanaswamy, widely recognised by his pen name “Yenbeeyes,” is a distinguished author and researcher specialising in classical and Nadi astrology. Born in 1949 in Tamil Nadu, India, he was drawn to astrology from an early age by his maternal grandfather, a revered Sanskrit scholar and accomplished astrological researcher. Under his grandfather’s guidance, Balasubramanian spent eight formative years studying Sanskrit and immersing himself in classical astrological literature, establishing a deep and lasting foundation for his future work.
A transformative chapter in his spiritual and scholarly journey began in 2000, when he met his Guru, Nakkirar Natarajan, a notable astrologer and author based in Chennai. Under his Guru’s mentorship, Balasubramanian refined his predictive skills and explored the subtleties of advanced astrological principles. Encouraged by his Guru’s confidence in his abilities, he started producing research-oriented articles on specific astrological themes—many of which were later published in leading Indian astrological journals. He also assumed the significant responsibility of translating key Tamil astrological texts into English, thereby opening this ancient knowledge to readers worldwide.
