Ashwini Kumar Verma is a serious scholar of the Indian knowledge tradition, philosophy, and human personality, as well as a sensitive and thoughtful writer. He was born in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. He obtained his postgraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Lucknow. He worked as a chemist with ONGC.
During his tenure at ONGC, the author published several articles, poems, jokes, plays, and other literary works in the organisation’s annual Rajbhasha magazine. For several years, he also served as the editor of the annual Rajbhasha magazine while working at ONGC.
The author’s story titled Bhayankar Bhoot (The Terrifying Ghost) was published in the social magazine Sarita, while his article Antariksh Ke Aashcharyajanak Tathya (Amazing Facts About Space) was published in Kadambari.
