B. Mahadevan has been working as a professor at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) for over 30 years. Earlier, Mahadevan completed his BE Production Engineering degree in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai (IIT Madras), followed by a Ph.D. Mahadevan served as the first Vice-Chancellor of Chinmaya University from 2016-18. He has written various books in the field of management. He has taught in Indian and foreign universities. He has worked as a consultant to various commercial companies in India and to the Central Government. Mahadevan has researched and written books on many subjects including Indian culture, Sanātana Dharma, and Bhagavad Gītā. He has conducted courses on management and Indian culture for students and senior executives working in administrations. He has shared his views in detail through Practical Vedanta Samvada on YouTube.
