A very well-crafted and fast-paced mystery novel with a tremendous plot and an even more appealing suspense. One just falls in love with the characters, particularly that of Wahida Ali, who is without a doubt, one of the best female protagonists ever.
A Cliffhanger right up to the final scene!
With a protagonist, who transcends the limitations offered by societal norms to unravel the mystery behind a young woman's dead, the author has carefully woven into the the textual fabric the subtle dynamics of the 'liberal' stance of humanism. A macabre crime, that paved way to a peculiar but coherent take on the very 'constructedness' of social constructs.
