Description
Money did not begin in a bank, a marketplace or a king’s treasury. It began with a simple human problem: how could people exchange what they had for what they needed?
In The Money Code—Book I: Origins, I trace this remarkable journey from barter and early trade to commodity money, precious metals and the birth of coins.
Through history, everyday examples, personal reflections and gentle humour, I explore why humanity invented money and how trust gave it value.
This is not a complicated economics textbook, but rather a clear, engaging story about one of humankind’s most influential and enduring inventions.
